PM Modi's Sustainable fashion wear, dons jacket from recycled PET Bottles
Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a fashion statement by donning a blue jacket from recycled plastic bottles while delivering a speech to the Parliament. The Prime Minister wore this jacket to Parliament while responding to a vote of thanks on the President's address. The jacket is a product of the Green Initiative of Sustainable Garments launched by Indian Oil, the flagship uniform brand for its employees, called 'Unbottled.' This initiative aims to reduce the company's carbon footprint by recycling PET bottles into garments. Apart from Indian Oil, other companies have also taken steps towards sustainable fashion wear.
